Repetition

I've been twisting my clay recipe a bit and I'm currently delighted in how the new mix takes the impressions and allows for a more even shape . So much more reliable than a few months ago...

Holidays...

Busy and happy...The Holidays are almost here and much excitement in preparation.
Theo is starting Winter Break, today is last day of classes. He's very excited.

We're saying bye to friends that travel "home" for the Holidays and spending time with others staying here. New friends coming to our lives, running into dear old friends on the Skyrtrain.

Little pleasures: a good dose of chili and chocolate on a personal lunch break.

A few last minute orders for understanding customers that can wait a bit (even if the necklaces arrive after Christmas).

A couple of days away in Whistler in our horizon.

A few books impossible to put down

Merry, Merry!

Lately, some new necklaces to share here in my blog:

On taste...

One of the things that I've enjoyed during the sale is to see how different people like different things. One feels attracted to bright colors, other to the more muted...some like abstract designs, other prefer the figurative.

That's a great thing and it fascinates me to watch people gravitate to something or another.

However, during the fair I've noticed some of my pieces where picked up the most. Attractive for some reason for a good number of persons passing by and here's my list of the "popular" ones:

Antonia's Harvest- square tile
sonn to be uploaded to the etsy shop

and finally, another sweet bird that I'll also add to the shop when I have the chance

I'm about to dive into color exploration to enrich my collection - I'll show you the progress - what is your favorite color?
