Paper Flowers

Lately I've been making paper flowers...
It started as an occurrence on how to embellish my soon to be shot handmade paper new products. Why not to add flowers?...What about paper flowers since it'll be handmade paper after all...

And along came some paper flowers...
And then some more. And more. And I couldn't stop.

Its been addictive and therapeutic.

So I'll be sharing my flowers in the future posts!

Winter Break Wrap up...

With the last few shots of our trip found in my cell phone. I like some of these a lot!

This is Potrerillos in Mendoza. My mom told me this was a favorite spot of my dad.

And the cutest kids in the world playing the cutest small cello!

I'm suddenly feeling the wish to rest again. I don't think I've felt this impulse to slow and rest since Theo was born almost 8 years ago. I feel this as a very healthy come back!

I'm spending my days jewelry making (always a pleasure to call it my job) and lately I seem to have acquired a new "hobby": paper flowers.

More on that in short.

Winter Break

Winter break from school is going great so far. I was dreading it before they started since I had to keep working all through. 7 and 5 years (actually almost 8 and 6) are proving to be easier than ever before.

Long but relaxed hours of drawing, imaginary games, friend coming over and my kids going to theirs and also, sweet grandparents taking them to the movies and theatre.

Easy and mostly cheap. It's the pace what makes these days so lovely!

For a Horse Lover Bride

I love me a Custom request! For this order I've had to make my own silicon moods. Lovely challenge and a prettier result than expected!

Road Trip 2

We've just had a short trip to Mendoza, the province of wine. We had a very good time, nice road trip (long!), staying with friends, visiting the wineries and drinking LOTS of Malbec.

Mendoza is on the West side of the country, by the majestic Andes, the mountains that run along the entire continent and that reach very high altitudes at that particular latitude, which benefits grape agriculture, therefore, the wine industry.

Road Trip 1

Fabulous Road Trip (a.k.a.) the Malbec Trip. We've visited the province of great wine.
Good friends, good food, visit to the winery...good times!

Not very easy to be back to the unordinary, messy day to day!
