Who doesn't like flowers? They're one of the most beautiful and perfect gifts of Nature, aren't they? Who am I to resist their enchanting powers?

So after much trial and error, I finally managed to construct the flower cluster.

Light but solid. Delicate but functional.

Custom Colors

I had a request to make my Ophelia in Venice necklace in a different color combination: Aqua and Gold.

The colors suit this design so well.

I'm delighted!

Romantic Lacy Texture

I'm working with this lace texture plate.

I love the intricate pattern that woks nicely on small areas creating an abstract design as well as in bigger shapes revealing the bigger image.

Planning a necklace with the same pattern and colors (this champagne and antique silver patina is very apealling to my eye)

Fun and merriment with my mom's visit!

A short trip to Seattle...

On this rainy and very grey morning my mom's baking cookies. We took Monday as a sort of holidays. Theo had no school and Mica joined the fun. We carry the weekend slowness and easiness on us. I plan to keep the slow pace within me.

Focus is on daily beauty and how to savour the moment deeply, with a healthy dose of cookies to make it sweeter.

Flower Clusters 2

I've been playing with these flower clusters for some time. While I like this idea very much, so far I wasn't able to find a satisfactory technical resolution.

The new clay is proving really apt for constructing this clusters: the new tests are coming along nicely and well done. I think I'll be incorporating them to my line soon.

I've found a little piece of paper with the number 40 on the floor in my kitchen.

No idea how it got here but I loved it since I was 40. I've used it to create a doll as an homage to that particular milestone in a person's life that the age of 40 is in our society.

It was my birthday last week and I'm 41 now.

Some days I feel a real grown up. Some other days I feel very young.

I like this moment. I like to know myself better than ever before.

My wish is to be each day more able to use what I know now for the benefit of myself and others. And to learn how myself and others are in truth, just the same One.

End of the summer

Subtly and slowly the summer is coming to an end. It's back to school after a couple of months when Theo and I shared a lot of time and intimacy. We became closer than ever, our relationship grew, I felt my love for him get deeper as I get to know him better and as he becomes more mature.

The nice weather allows for happy afternoon picnics with food-art playing

And some modelling of new necklaces.

Creativity is still in full bloom, and a lot of experimentation with custom names and initials is going on.
