Dream

Dream big and work hard.

And things will eventually happen.

Sometimes is hard to keep a dream alive when things are not happening as you've imagined.

But when eventually dreams come true, you just smile a big smile, and pray a thankful prayer, and hug your friends, and pat your shoulder for a bit...

And tomorrow, you just go back to work as usual.

Springtime

It's spring already although Spring is very shy arriving to Vancouver every year. The sunshine in this part of the world is a treat of the Summer. It's more as in "April showers bring May flowers" all the time.

However, I must say, sunshine or not, Spring is showing its pretty face through the present of flowers. Flowers all over. I'll take my camera with me this year since I want to document the flowers by month. (now tulips, daffodils, what else?)

It's been an amazing month for Palomaria. I've worked a lot. The most beautiful custom orders came my way and it was a pleasure to work on them.

The picture is one of those: a commission for a set of 2 necklaces to be worn together or separately.

The La Plata

There're still some styles to list.

And photos on a model to shoot...

But all in all is a decent beginning...

And I hope this new line will do well in due time.

As a pleasant and very surprising welcome, one of my earrings was on Etsy front page today in a beautiful treasury by Katie Dunlap.

PS: the name: The la Plata is an homage to Rio de la Plata, the river on which my home city, Buenos Aires, sits.

Almost ready

I'm working with great dedication on my new line.

It's really almost ready. I just need to take good pics on a model (my dear friend Vicky) and then I'll be able to put everything together and make the big reveal.

For now, I must just hold my tongue, it'll be nicer to let you know when it's perfectly cooked.

But I can help to share another little bit.
